We are really making an effort to start traditions in our family. Our reason for doing this is that we think that traditions will help instill, in our children, the truths we teach them about a season. For the Christmas season, we put up our tree the weekend immediately following Thanksgiving and we teach our children that because Jesus is more important than anyone in the world we celebrate his birthday for a whole month, much longer than the one day we take to celebrate any other birthday. This year, Annelissa and Alatheia asked for some special pajamas they could wear at Christmas time. Here are some pictures of the kids ready for bed and very excited about their pajamas.
